Plantpowerman
Plantpowerman's power plant is the Yucca. Yuccas are tough and spiky. They need almost no water to survive. They come from the deserts of Mexico. But Plantpowerman didn't grow up in the desert. He grew up in the Amazon rainforest. That's where his mum, Lily, started Plant Power. She taught him everything. How to pull in bad air. How to breathe out clean air. How to lead. Now Plantpowerman leads the team from Power City, a huge city far from the rainforest. Lily still looks after Plant Power HQ, deep in the Amazon rainforest. The team visits her there from time to time. He's calm and strong. And always first to fight for clean air.
Draccie
Draccie's power plant is the Dracaena. His family are cousins of the famous Dragon Tree. They grow deep in the rainforests of Borneo, one of the oldest rainforests on Earth. Every Dracaena in his family does the same thing. They pull in bad air. They breathe out clean air. They've done it for generations. It keeps the whole forest healthy. Draccie grew up strong, just like his family's roots. He never gives up, no matter how bad the air gets.

Snake
Snake's power plant is the Snake Plant. His family lives in the Congo Rainforest. Snake Plants have a special trick. They clean the air all night long. They make oxygen while everyone else sleeps. No other plant family can do that. Snake grew up watching over the forest at night. It taught him patience. It made him watchful too. Now he's the one who stays awake. He keeps clearing bad air after everyone else stops.

Chrissie
Chrissie's power plant is the Chrysanthemum. Her family has grown in the misty hills of Huangshan, China, for over 2,500 years. Chrissie learned something important as a kid. Chrysanthemums aren't just pretty flowers. They're some of the best air-cleaners around. They pull in bad air other plants can't touch. Growing up on the mountainside made Chrissie sharp. It made her a fast problem-solver too. Now she's the one the kids go to. She fixes their gear when a mission gets tough.

Holly
Holly keeps the whole team on track. She joined Plant Power because she loves solving problems. She loves helping her friends too. Her favourite tool is the Field Map. It's a special tablet. It shows exactly where the bad air is. Holly thinks every kid should join. Plant Power isn't just about clean air. It's about being part of a team that has your back.
Lauren
Lauren joined Plant Power because she wanted to be brave. She's quick-thinking. She's always ready for action. Her favourite tool is the Grapple Line. It fires a rope to block a villain's escape. She's even used it to help catch Gasman. Lauren says the best part is this. Even kids can make a real difference.
Callum
Callum joined Plant Power because he wanted to help his friends. He's got the biggest grin on the team. He loves cheering everyone on. His favourite tool is his Power Scissors. They snip through anything in his way. Callum thinks joining matters. Every kid deserves clean air to breathe.
Josh
Josh learned that bad air can make people sick. He wanted to help fix that. So he joined Plant Power. He's calm under pressure. He's always ready for a challenge. His favourite gear is his Rad Shield. It's a glowing dome that protects him. Josh believes small actions add up. That's why joining matters.
Charlie
Charlie loves asking questions. She loves figuring things out. That's why she joined Plant Power. She always checks a scene carefully before flying in. Her favourite tool is her Scout Binoculars. They light up to reveal bad air. Charlie thinks it's important to join. More kids means more eyes on bad air. And that makes everyone's neighbourhood safer.
Olivia
Olivia joined Plant Power for an adventure. And she got one. She helped catch Gasman with her Hemp Net. She's brave and kind. She's always ready to help a friend. Olivia loves knowing her actions really matter. She thinks every kid should join. Cleaning up the air is something everyone can help with.
Isla
Isla is the youngest Plant Power Kid. But she's one of the sharpest. She joined because she loves solving mysteries. She writes down clues in her notebook. Her favourite part is helping the others. She spots things they might have missed. Isla thinks joining matters. You're never too young to help look after the air we all breathe.

How we look after your child's information
Plant Power is built for young kids, so we've kept sign-up as simple β and as private β as possible. Here's how we look after it.
No real names, ever
Kids sign up with a made-up "Plant Power alias," not their real name, photo, or address. There's simply nowhere on the form to enter one.
A grown-up starts every sign-up
A child can't sign up without a parent or guardian's email and their confirmation that they agree. Every password reset goes to that same email.
Password resets go to a parent
If a password is forgotten, the reset link goes to the parent/guardian email on file β never to the child directly.
No ads, no tracking
No third-party advertising or behavioural tracking on a children's site β a hard requirement under both NZ and international children's privacy rules.
Passwords, properly stored
Passwords are never stored as plain text, and everything sent between your device and Plant Power is encrypted.
Just a parent's email β nothing else personal
The only personal detail we hold about your family is the parent or guardian's email address. Kids use an alias and a cartoon avatar β no real name, photo, address or birthday. (If you pre-order the book or sign up for updates or teacher resources, we also keep the name and email you give us for that.)
Held securely, and never shared
Everything we hold is kept securely, and only used to run Plant Power. We never sell your information or share it with anyone else, and we only send marketing emails if you tick the box to say yes.
Stored in Australia
The information we hold is kept in a secure database in Sydney, Australia β close to home, not on the other side of the world.
